I know u lose like 100 strands or less a day is it normal from not losing alot of hair for like a week that it could have just stayed at the ends waiting for u to brush it out because out of the whole week today i lost the most and wasn't from the root just the ends because i haven't brushed till today and i have very long hair down my back so is that normal

Yes, this is totally normal. If hair loss is caused by the telogen phase (this is the last phase of the growth cycle of each individual hair, and it lasts about 3-6 months culminating in the loss of the hair) and not systemic or chemical causes, the fact that your hair is so long easily masks your loss when you don't brush your hair for a while. When this hair is lost, it will fall out from the root, work its way down the hair shaft, and end up in your shower/hairbrush/floor/etc. Since your hair is very long and you haven't brushed it in a while, be sure to use a wide-tooth comb and be gentle to prevent excess damage. Yes it is completely normal.

And, I don't want to make people sound like dogs...but.

in a way, we shed too.

When they get excited or during certain times of the season, they have blow outs...where they shed more often than normal.

We do this sometimes too. Weather, stress, how often we wash hair, how often and much we use products, diet and sleep can all effect your hair.

Maybe try to keep track of what you did a couple days before a noticable hair loss.

You might find a reason.

Yes it is normal. When Me and my husband first moved in together before we were married LOL he said honey there has been a lot of hair in the bathroom. Really long hair so I know its your. Is there a problem with you why are you pulling your hair out. LOLOL I laughed so hard. I was like honey women shed hair everyday and since my hair is long it look like more than it is.
