Any pro hair stylists???

Hey! so I had looong hair like 2 weeks ago, I went to get it cut (supposively just my split ends) but this idiot (hair stylist) sut it to like my shoulders!!!

Now its kinda short, dark brown. I want to get high lights on it, but Is it going to be a problem if I part my hair to the side? and sometimes I just don't part it and brush it all back, (kinda like Angelina Jolynes style) and what color high lights do you recommend for this summer?

its a rly professional hair salon

2) dont get highlights or anything that ruins ur hair and u wont like the results after a while

3) dont get any chemical services done on ur hair it will kill it

I am a pro hair stylist, and I think highlights look lovely for the summer. Make sure you do get them done in a salon, as that will prevent your hair from becoming overly damaged. Ask your stylist to recommend some shampoo, conditioner, and products for you because highlighting does dry your hair out a little.

Tell your hairstylist exactly what you said on here, that you like to change the part around and sometimes where it without a part at all. She will be able to place the highlights in a manner so that they will work with any hairparting or none.

If you're getting your hair highlighted for the first time, I would recommend getting them just 2-3 shades lighter than your natural hair color. Tell the hairstylist you want the highlights weaved, not chunky, and you want them to look very natural, not overdone. This is best so that if over the fall and summer, you decide not to have your hair rehighlighted, they will blend in nicely with your natural hair color. For best results- show her a picture that looks like what you want!

honey the hairstylist might not have been an idiot it might have actually been where your split ends were....you gotta get specific with us....next time just say half an inch then you can b*tch if they cut off more....and when foiling ask the stylist to do a center strip on the top of your head and two on the sides this way they will be evenly distributed and i would do a carmel color for summer
