My hair is ALWAYS tangled! How can I tame it using natural means?

I have very lengthy hair (past my chest) and it seems to ALWAYS tangle in the back, making a nest that i have to brush out EVERY DAY. I am allergic to alot of drugstore hair care stuff, i was wondering if anyone knows any alternatives or help!

Having long hair myself...I find that the best thing you can do is invest in a good conditioner (i suggest Pantene) and a leave in treatment. I use Chi....it is in a silver bottle with a red top...the best stuff I have ever come across...and also dont sleep with your hair loose. Pull that mane up at night. It will really help from getting it all knotted up. Hope this helps. I understand how ya feel :-)

If you can use fabric softner but a small amount into a spray bottle then fill it with water. It's a natural leave-in conditioner /detanlge which works great!

I use Infusium 23 hair repair spray and it really helps with tangles. I'm allergic to a lot of products as well, but not this one. Just put it in after you shower!

I have your same problem. Use conditioner and mask whenever you wash your hair.

Now I'm try the Pantene leave-in anti-frizz cream. It seems to work.
