Straightening my hair?

I straighten my hair all the time and I can never get it totally straight... My hair is naturally pretty curly, and when it is wet, I just brush it a lot and put some products in, but not a lot. Also, I have A TON of hair if that makes any difference. What can I do to make my hair straighten more easily? Are there any products that help?

i have about the same hair you do, what i do is towel dry my hair after a shower and then apply Redken straightening balm it works pretty well.

I would invest in a good ceramic hair straightener, like a Chi or Paul Mitchell..

Trying using the ceramic straighteners

they work for me

I usually shower with Yves Rocher's hydration shampoo because my hair is really dry and frizzy, which means your hair is dry. Yves rocher's brand is for animal lovers which means they don't test on animals, like all the other brands.

But if you realy don't care about animals (-.-') then get Herbal Essences's Hello Hydration. They both work the same.

Conditioning not required.

I then blowdry my hair until it's half dry and half wet.

I then straighten it.

If you cannot shower in the morning, then shower overnight. When you sleep DO NOT tie your hair like everyone else says. I've tried it before and not tying your hair leaves better straight results.

In the morning, I then comb it to the style I want. I then use some "straight" mousse. Note: no mousse can ever permanently leave your hair straight. If you want, hair spray it.

Don't tie it into a ponytail unless you wanna, because once you tie it, the straightness goes away,.

i use some redken products that i got from my hair place and they really really work well. I've also found that conair straighteners never have worked for me. I naturally have really wavy thick hair but when i straighten it, i do it by layers so i make sure each section is perfect.
