Professionally styled hair?

I can NEVER get my hair to be like my stylist does. She puts in a styling cream and then blow dries it section by section with a round brush. But... I cannot seem to get this right. [grr]. It's just ugly. Any videos or tips?

Have you tried buying salon clips to keep your hair in sections? I was always amazed at how great my stylist was at blowing out and straightening my hair, but I could never get it at home. Then I realized it was because I was trying to do my hair all at once and my sections got in the way of each other. I bought salon clips to keep my hair sectioned and they have really made a huge difference!
