Hair Troubles! HELP ME!!?

ok...i'll start off my telling you what my hair is like now: its straight, shoulder length, brown with natural barely noticable red highlights, and i have side bangs on the left side. here are my questions:

1. what is the best shampoo/conditioner to use for hair that is really dry and really frizzy?

2. what else can i do to de-frizz my hair?

3. what is the "proper" way to straighten my hair? so that i dont damage it too much

4. what kind of brush/comb should i use on it?

thanks!! all answers are appreciated!

Hair Troubles! HELP ME!!?

i had the same problem about a month ago, then i switched to a new shampoo%26amp;conditioner, and bought a new straightener. now my hairs back to normal:]

1. i swear by bed head's control freak shampoo%26amp;conditioner (it's specifically for frizz control and straightening)

2. use some type of syrum after straightening. it'll get rid of the frizzies and make your hair look shiny. i suggest matrix sleek look smoothing system syrum, but there's a bunch of good kinds.

3. get a ceramic straightener. theyre a bit pricey, but so much better for your hair. also, use a protective spray in your hair before straightening it. again, i suggest matrix sleek look smothing system iron smoother.

4. brisle combed.

hope i could help!

Hair Troubles! HELP ME!!?

My fiance's hair is dry and mine is frizzy. He uses Paul Mitchell extra moisture shampoo and Joico k-pak conditioner. The conditioner is very light so it can be used everyday. I have oily hair and I use it every day too. for the frizz, what I do is once I have washed my hair and dryed, I put some bio silk in it. You can put the bio silk in before you dry your hair too and it will be a LOT less frizzy - but slightly oily. Since you have dry hair, that won't matter much. After you dry it, use a straightening iron to straighten it out. Chi also makes a very good de-friz product.

I also used to have frizzy dry hair. I straighten my hair (or better known as relaxing) with an Oglivie relaxer. You will find this in a green %26amp; gold box in the same section with perms. You can purchase these at your local Wal-mart. It is not harsh and takes under 30 minutes for the entire process. Next I use only Aussie Products on my hair. Wash and condition, then apply Aussie 3 minute miracle. Leave in and wrap in a hot, wet towel for as long as you can. Rinse and blow dry on cool. You will love your new hair. Hope this helps.
