What to do with my hair?

i am 14 and have curly hair and i hate it. it take me about 20 minutes to brush in the morning if i sleep with my hair down, and if i have my hair down during the day it is almost impossible to brush in the evening. people keep saying to me that they love my hair and they would love to have it but i really want to change my hair!!! any ideas?? please help :)

What to do with my hair?

Alright..

I'm 14. I have really curly hair, and I used to hate it.

Now i love it.

Don't brush your hair. There's no point. it make it poofy and ugly.

okay.. here's what you do.

Wake up in the morning and take a shower.

Wash your hair with garnier fructis curl and shine shampoo.

Then condition it with garnier fructis conditioner.

When you get out, towel dry your hair until water doesn't drip anymore.

Get some garnier fructis soft curl product [it comes in a little green tub]

Follow the direction. You don't need more than a nickel sized amount, expecially if your hair isn't long.

scrunch your hair with it and let it air dry. DO NOT TOUCH IT AFTER TO SCRUNCH IT.

after it dries it will be really curly and not frizzy.

Trust me. I've used 248759234 different products in my hair and this worked the best.

Well if you honestly dont like having your hair curly...I would suggest going to a salon. Tell them that you want them to chemically straighten your hair. Its called "relaxing" your hair. Most African Americans get this done. All it is, is using chemicals that are used in perm products...except its straightening your hair...and it works very very WELL!

What to do with my hair?

errmmm... tried straightening it? or maybe go to the hairdressers see if they can help! hope i helped.x

What to do with my hair?

since you are only 14 try not to damage your hair too bad, try a home straightener but use a product to protect from heat damage. try product for curly hair too maybe you will find one that will make you love your hair.

I have naturally curly hair. I have had it since I was 2 years old, I am now 31 years old. I use to hate it like you and tried to get it straightened...it did not keep and was a big waste of money. First of all..brushing curly hair is a no no. What works best for me is to wash my hair once a week with shampoo and conditioner and the rest of the days just use conditioner. This controls my curls and my hair does not look poofy. I also let it airdry after adding product to it. FrizzEaze is a really good product line to use. Or lately I swear by Herbal Essences totally twisted hair gel. The other thing I find that helps relax my hair is by coloring it. I know you are only fourteen, but I started coloring my hair at 15 and it makes a world of difference. OH...when you condition your hair (everyday) comb the conditioner through with a wide tooth comb, this will help with tangles.

lol .... well i think u should have your hair cut a little and straighten it !!! im 14 too and i have shoulder length hair and i straighten mine i have no trouble with it now lol !! xx gd luck ...

What to do with my hair?

i have exactly the same hair, dont sleep with ur hair up for start its causes really bad headaches, i had my hair thinned out a layers put in, and straighten it everyday, but its so soft and easy to handle everyday.

What to do with my hair?

You can relax it chemically or use a good quality straightener.

If I were you though i would learn to love it. Good luck!

What to do with my hair?

i suggest you shower in the

morning %26amp; use leave in hair

conditionar! i have curly hair too!

but i love to straighten it if you do

bust out a me go to a hair salon once

a month %26amp; get treatment for it because

falt ironing it may dry it out ALOT

What to do with my hair?

I'm a member of the curly hair club also. It can be soo hard to style, and for a style to stay put! But...to help the morning brush-athon, always comb your hair through and put into large plaits every night, or twist into lilttle buns. It will detangle it, ready for the next day...oh and I find combing first (using a wide tooth comb)then brushing my hair is the best way to manage my curly hair.

What to do with my hair?

I would definately go to a salon for a consultation. If you havent much money you could enquirte at your local college if they do hair consultations free or at a reduced price as colleges often do that to help them in the teaching/training process. You wouldnt neccessarily have to let them do anything to it,just ask if they would advise you what would work well to do to your hair, explaining how youd like it.If your hair is unusual/difrent condition to average-styling %26amp; cutting wise a college would probably be glad to help you for training %26amp; good hairdressers should be the same although your more likely to have to pay at a proper hairdressers but its still worth asking at both %26amp; its up to you in the end if you let anyone do treatments to your hair.
