Need help learning how to blowdry my hair.?

I can't seem to get the hang of blowdrying my hair straight. I have natrually wavy hair and I've been trying to take more time with it and straigten it but I cant seem to get coordinated enought to use the round brush AND blowdryer at the same time. Any tips on how to do it the correct and easiest way? I alwasy seem to get the round brush tangled up and end up blowdrying my hair into a poof ball!

Here's what I do. I have naturally wavy hair that is LONG. So I hold my head upside down and dry it that way until it is 95% dry (Gives you volume). Then I divide my hair into sections, one section on the left side of my head from top of head to behind ear, the same on the other side, and the back into two sections (top and bottom). Then I dry the sides first, paying special attention to the pieces that frame my face, then i dry the back sections, bottom section first. After hair is all dry, I straighten the ends only, and put a pea sized dollop of smoothing cream in my hands and rub them together really fast. That is called emulsifying. Then blot your hands on a towel, and barely rub your hands through the ENDS of your hair only.

Try conditioning ur hair with products that subtly weigh ur hair without making it look greasy or thin. After a shampoo, wait for hair to dry out a bit, then comb hair first (with cold air..this brings in additional glaze to ur hair) and blodry from top to bottom

I have extremely long, wavy, frizzy hair and used to hang my blow dryer from the top frame of the bathroom door and blow dry it while "pulling" on it while brushing it dry, then using very large curlers to even it out. But now I use a really good blowdryer that has that "ionic" care, and it only take a couple mins to dry, then I straighten it with a wonderful straightener, which only takes minutes and I look GREAT! (And I'm in my 40's)

Choose the right product for you I use the straighting balm. no. 5

I use a flat brush with wide teeth it does not pull out as much hair, also if you have a cool button use it in intervals along with heat. You might want to purchase a flat iron as well and use it sparingly on stubborn pieces.

Buy some Lorel Heat Activated Cream, it's from their studio line and it's in a little pink squeezy bottle. Just put it in after you take a shower and brush your hair, no matter if your blow drying it or straightening it....it helps make your hair more straight and less poofy, I love it.

its easier to just flat iron it straight or get a blowdryer with a comb or brush attached
