A paddle brush is a large square brush that provides great coverage when you're brushing, perhaps you could use one when you blow dry your hair without using the straighteners after? I know it's hard, my hairdresser blow dried my hair straight and didn't use irons and it looked great, straight without that obvious 'straight' look irons give but I cannot do this myself!

If you can afford it, go to a salon and they can chemically stratighten your hair....like a perm to curl it but without the rollers. Then your hair will look like you have used a flat iron on it with almost no effort. It's great! Here's a website where they talk about it.

Otherwise, you can blow dry your hair in sections using a paddle brush (available at beauty supply stores or even Target, etc.) and some hair product designed to straighten and that will get it relatively straight. It's just a big flat brush that will hold your hair straight while you blow dry. It isn't very fast though.

after u wash ur hair DO NOT dry it..tat will frizz it out and jus keep brushin it to make shore there is no tangles while u let it dry..maybe u could go to a hair dresser and they can thin it out (not make it shorter) i get it done
